Digital Media Internship
We are on the hunt for our next great social media/digital media intern. The last two years we have had an awesomely creative senior (rising senior) fill the role. Your job is to man our Instagram and Twitter pages. Create posts that inform your peers about stuff they need to know about the college process. This is what we are looking for:

Career Opportunities
College Planning Cohort LeaderEvery fall Guru kicks off a ten-month college planning series with a small group of eight to ten juniors. The class meets once a month in person for two hours and offers monthly office hours where students can get help with the topic of focus for that month. This job is ideal for someone who is looking for a smaller role in college planning and has availability in the evenings. The ideal candidate has experience teaching teenagers, knowledge of the college planning process, is enthusiastic and detail oriented, and wants to help teenagers by giving them the tools to reach their goals.

College CounselorIf you have admissions experience through a role as a high school counselor, working in an admissions office, or through another venue, you might have the right background to be a lead member of our team through a college counselor role. Counselors are in charge or securing their own case load and have broad control over their schedules and hours. Guru provides support through mentorship, proprietary materials, training, and company events.

Community LiaisonThis position serves as a sort of outreach coordinator for Guru. The job of community liaison is to set up events for our college counselors such as speaking engagements at PTA meetings, libraries, or high school college nights. This person also helps to get the word out about our events and offerings such as summer college application workshops.
