We will have more information out soon about the Class of 2019 College Planning cohort. In the meantime, add your contact information to this form if you are interested in being notified when registration is open.
CHECK BACK HERE IN JULY FOR THE NEXT SESSION FOR THE CLASS OF 2019.
We say this often: college planning is not something you have to have. Getting one-on-one help with college can be expensive, and it’s not for everyone. We recognize there are families out there who want help, but may not be able to afford one-to-one services. We don’t ever want to see cost be a deterrent to access to high quality information, especially when it comes to something as important and complex as college planning. We’ve got a solution: Guru’s Class of 2018 College Planning Series.
Every month, the group of ten students will meet for three hours of college planning support led by Guru's Aimee Rosier. The class will cover the college planning process from start to finish, giving students expert advice and feedback. You don’t have to climb this mountain alone, and it won’t cost too much to get it done. We're thoughtfully keeping the group capped at 10 in order to provide highly individualized support.
COST: For $550, you'll receive 29 hours of college planning support. You can't beat that. (We'll also give you the option to pay monthly).
LOCATION, DATES, TIMES: All classes meet at Trietsch in Flower Mound, and online office hours are hosted through Zoom. Office hours are a chance for students to log in from home with their specific questions as they work on the materials for the upcoming class. Students can get feedback on college lists, ask questions about the editing process, and get extra attention in the areas they need support.

WHAT'S COVERED: Our very first session will start with setting goals; you’ll identify goals related to your academics, your plans for college, and your own personal growth. College is about more than getting in, and our program is designed to be just as comprehensive. From there, you’ll learn how to research a college, create a smart plan for SAT and ACT prep, draft a college-ready resume, write essays, and search for scholarships. We’re covering the process from A-Z, and we plan to have some fun together while we’re at it.
